Vice Presidents

Dan Culhane, MD, FACEP has been a CEP America Partner since 2000 and currently serves as Vice President. Prior to serving as Regional Director, Dr. Culhane was the Medical Director at both Arroyo Grande Community Hospital and French Hospital Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Culhane received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and earned his medical degree at the University of California, Los Angeles. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the San Joaquin/Valley Medical Center of Fresno Campus of UCSF. Dr. Culhane practices at French Hospital and Arroyo Grande Community Hospital. He has served on multiple committees, including Chief of Staff at these facilities. He currently serves on the Peer Review and Medical Executive Committees.

Theo Koury, MD, FACEP
has been a CEP America Partner since 1997, serving on the Board of Directors and as an Associate Vice President. Dr. Koury previously acted as the first chairman of CEP America's New Partner Committee. He serves on various hospital-based committees including chairman of the Emergency Department Performance Improvement Committee and chairman of the Interdisciplinary Practice Committee. He attended the University of Southern California, where he obtained his bachelor's in Biology, and earned his medical degree at the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Koury completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk, Virginia, where he served as Chief Resident and received the John P. McDade Award for "Research in Emergency Medical Care." He is an American College of Emergency Physicians Fellow.

Martin Ogle, MD, FACEP joined CEP America in 1984 and is a Vice President and previously served as Regional Director for CEP America. He practices at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center's Emergency Department in Laguna Hills, California. Dr. Ogle is a member of the Society of Orange County Emergency Physicians, the California Medical Association, and the Orange County Medical Association. He is an American College of Emergency Physicians Fellow and an American Board of Emergency Medicine Diplomate. He is a member of CEP America's Compliance, a former member of the Credentials and Partnership Affairs Committee (CPAC), a founding faculty member of the Medical Director Academy and is the former Chair of the Board and current Board member of the MedAmerica Mutual Risk Retention Group. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University - St. Louis and a medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. Dr. Ogle completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center.

Ellis Weeker, MD, FACEP
is a founding partner of CEP America and previously served on the Board of Directors. He is a CEP America Vice President and a staff physician in the Emergency Department at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, California. Dr. Weeker is also a member of the Santa Clara County Medical Association. He received his Bachelor of Science from Tulane University and medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Medical Center and Highland General Hospital in Oakland, California. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Weeker was also a recipient of CEP America's 2005 Stewardship Award.
