CEP America Partner Rodney Borger, MD, Emergency Department (ED) Medical Director at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, CA, has received the San Bernardino County Medical Society’s 2012 Merlin A. Hendrickson, MD Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Community. The award is presented to a member of the San Bernardino County Medical Society who has participated in community activities above and beyond what is expected of the membership at large.
“This is a terrific award and I am extremely honored,” said Dr. Borger. “My focus has always been to provide top quality care to patients who visit the ER at ARMC. As physicians, we can also have a positive impact outside the medical center by becoming immersed in the community we serve.”
This is not the first time Dr. Borger has been acknowledged for his contributions to his community. In the past, Dr. Borger was recognized by the California Medical Board for his ongoing humanitarian work.
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center has partnered with CEP America since 1999, with Dr. Borger serving as the ED’s Medical Director beginning in 2002.
