CEP America, one of the nation’s leading providers of hospital-based physician management solutions, is pleased to announce the expansion of its partnerships with Palomar Health and Madera Community Hospital in California. After successfully staffing their emergency departments (EDs), CEP America will begin managing the inpatient departments at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, Pomerado Hospital in Poway in San Diego County and Madera Community Hospital in Madera on April 1.
“We are excited to bring the same level of care to the hospitals’ inpatient departments that we have to their EDs,” said Mark Talavera, MD, Vice President, Hospital Medicine. “With CEP America staffing multiple departments at Palomar Health and Madera, providers and patients alike can expect enhanced ED-hospitalist integration and improved patient throughput.”
Founded in 1975, CEP America provides hospitals with the clinical, staffing and management expertise necessary to improve clinical quality, efficiency and service across the acute care continuum. The CEP America - Hospital Medicine service line was founded in 2000 to address the inpatient management needs of hospitals.
