CEP America’s system of shared ownership returns the maximum amount of income to physicians based on site performance.
Our mechanism for compensation is transparent and available to all Partners. The Partnership maintains complete control over governance, operations, and internal finances with no outside owners or investors. We are debt free and finance internally.
Our Partnership’s size, efficiency, and structure lead to very competitive income. Our physicians’ income is consistently higher than industry averages quoted in published surveys.

Benefits
All CEP America Partners are eligible to receive and participate in a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
- Retirement (401k) and health plans
- Life and disability insurance
- Risk management and professional liability insurance
- Web-based and annual CME sponsored courses (sufficient to maintain all requirements)
Bonus Distribution
In addition to regular compensation, CEP America distributes the Net Income of the Partnership to its Partners at the end of each calendar year.
Incentive Program
CEP America offers incentive plan options for qualifying physicians making a full time commitment to one of our priority locations for three or more years. The incentive program options may include a combination of a signing bonus and accelerated advancement within the Partnership.
CEP America Loan Program
CEP America offers a robust loan program to assist Partners with financial hardships, as well as to support long-term retention initiatives and engender company loyalty. These loans include:
- New Hire Bridge Loan – new physicians may qualify for an interest-free loan upon joining the Partnership. The partner may defray some of the upfront costs associated starting their EM careers, such as: transitioning from residency, relocating to a new location, and applying for medical staff privileges or licensing.
- Maternity/ Paternity Loan – an interest-free loan to assist Partners during their leave following the birth or adoption of a child.
Sabbatical
Partners achieving Senior Partnership status, generally after 10 years of fulltime service as a Partner, are eligible for the sabbatical program. Partners receive a generous stipend and enjoy time away from their clinical practice to rest, rejuvenate, or pursue other interests. This benefit is offered every five years.
