CEP America's Administrative Fellowships

CEP America offers Administrative Fellowships designed to provide in-depth training in leadership, administration and financial management in Emergency Medicine. There is significant exposure to all aspects of the Partnership’s administration including its support institutions: MedAmerica, its insurance company, MedAmerica Mutual Risk Retention Group as well as billing/coding company MBSI. Fellows are mentored by the Chief Medical Officer, Vice-President of Operations, Divisional and Regional Directors. They will be involved in various projects that will introduce them to issues important to Emergency Physicians such as quality, risk, advocacy and continuing education. Fellows work clinically and are expected to be involved in their local group and hospital site’s administration as well. CEP offers both “Central” and “Regional” Administrative Fellowships. As part of the largest democratic group in California, both tracks offer experiences in Emergency Medicine Administration that are second to none.
