(November 2005, Emeryville, California) – California Emergency Physicians Medical Group (CEP) has awarded Mather Neill, MD, FACEP, its most prestigious distinction of Master Clinician. Honorees must distinguish themselves by serving as a “role model” emergency physician who differentiates himself from his peers as a consistently outstanding physician, providing the highest level of clinical service, epitomizing the concept of clinical excellence.
Criteria for a Master Clinician include:

Excellent reputation among peers;
Strong relationships with the medical and nursing staff;
Outstanding risk profile;
High level of productivity;
Notable contributions to the advancement of emergency medicine.
Dr. Neill’s credentials include a Bachelor of Arts from Amherst College, Massachusetts and a medical degree from Columbia University, New York. He attended internship and residency at the University of Washington. Dr. Neill is Board-certified in Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr Neill has been a Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Seton Medical Center in Daly City and a Regional Director for CEP. Having previously served as Emergency Department Medical Director from 1999 to 2002, Dr. Neill is currently a staff physician at Marin General Hospital.
