Jeffrey Leinen, MD, Named Medical Director at Sutter Delta Medical Center

(April 2006, Emeryville, California) --California Emergency Physicians (CEP) Medical Group is proud to announce that Jeffrey Leinen, MD, has accepted the position of Medical Director in the Emergency Department (ED) at Sutter Delta Medical Center. Located in Antioch, California, the ED provides care to approximately 52,000 patients every year.

As Medical Director, Dr. Leinen will be responsible for the recruitment and supervision of emergency physicians and mid-level care providers. Additionally, he will oversee quality assurance and process improvement for the Emergency Department.

His major goal for the ED is to deliver the highest level of care in a timely fashion to all patients.

Dr. Leinen attended college at the University of Houston and received his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Chicago, where he was also a Flight Physician for the Aero Medical Network. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and an Oral Board Examiner for the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
