William Mostow, MD, Named Medical Director at Del E. Webb Memorial Hospital

(May 2006, Emeryville, California) --California Emergency Physicians (CEP) Medical Group is proud to announce that William Mostow, MD, has accepted the position of Medical Director in the Emergency Department (ED) at Del E. Webb Memorial Hospital. Located in Sun City West, Arizona, the ED provides care to approximately 46,000 patients every year.
As Medical Director, Dr. Mostow will be responsible for the overall leadership, operational performance, and clinical success of the Emergency Department.
His goals for the ED include: reducing the wait times for physicians and providers, recruiting and maintaining the best qualified physicians and physician assistants in the area, implementing protocols to raise the level of care for the patients of Del E. Webb, and maximizing patient satisfaction.
Says Regional Director, Michael Sequeira, MD, “Dr. Mostow is a special leader who will take the Emergency Department at Del E. Webb to a new level. He will join forces with a strong nursing group and administrative leadership team. I am very confident of his success.”
Dr. Mostow received a Bachelor of Arts in History at Lake Forest College and his medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School, both located in Illinois. He completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Illinois. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, as well as the Arizona College of Emergency Physicians.
Prior to accepting the role of Medical Director at Del E. Webb, Dr. Mostow served as Attending Physician in the EDs at Banner Estrella Medical Center and Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
