Marin General hospital has served the North Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area since 1952. The Marin General emergency department is a Level III trauma center (http://www.maringeneral.org). Patients are treated 24 hours a day, seven days a week by board-certified emergency physicians, experienced emergency nurses, and other specially trained staff whose mission is to deliver high-quality medical care and provide patient satisfaction.

Community Description

One of the nine Bay Area counties, Marin is linked to San Francisco by the Golden Gate Bridge and to the East Bay by the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. It is bordered on the north and northeast by Sonoma County and on the west by the Pacific Ocean.
