Community Description
Known as the "Gateway to the Peninsula," Daly City is San Mateo County's largest and most ethnically diverse city. The Cow Palace Arena straddles the San Francisco border, and is home of the annual Grand National Rodeo, Horse & Stock Show. In addition, it is host to a variety of events including music concerts and political conventions. Several golf courses are located in Daly City, and the area has become a shopping destination thanks to the city's Serramonte and Westlake Shopping Centers.
