Providence Holy Cross Medical Center (Providence.org) is an acute care, not-for-profit facility serving both the North San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys. Providence Holy Cross provides high quality specialty services and has won the Magnet designation for excellence in nursing services. The Providence Holy Cross emergency department is a level II trauma center and Paramedic Receiving Center with Chest Pain Center and ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) Receiving Center designations approved by the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services. The ED is staffed by board-certified physicians and nursing personnel certified in advanced and pediatric advanced life support.
