Site Description

Redlands Community Hospital (RedlandsHospital.com) is a 205-bed facility located in Southern California, mid-way between Los Angeles and Palm Springs. The hospital is a pioneer in using Physician Assistant coverage only in triage from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. Having PAs see all patients through triage and also discharging patients from the triage room if they are fast-track patients helps to minimize patient wait times. This program also creates more beds in the main ED for more acute patients.
