Client Sites: San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital
Site Description
San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital (SGMHF.org) is a 68-bed, district (not-for-profit/tax supported) hospital 200 yards off Interstate 10, midway between Redlands and Palm Springs. The hospital currently serves a population of 60,000, but with experts predicting a population of nearly 250,000 by the year 2020, the hospital's board of directors has commissioned the construction of a new 24-bed ER in the next 3-5 years to handle the growth. San Gorgonio's emergency staff uses the high-performance MedTeams Teamwork System to deliver high-quality patient care. In addition, the Rapid Medical Evaluation Program, backed by a PA in triage during peak hours, enables the team to efficiently and effectively care for 1500-1800 patients a month.
