Christus St. Michael Health System serves residents of Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma (ChristusStMichael.org). Established in 1916 by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, St. Michael is host to a 24-hour emergency department as well as a Primary Stroke Center. This hospital offers an array of expansive health care services, including heart care, imaging and diagnostic, surgical, orthopedic, rehabilitation, wellness, cancer care, women's and children's services.
