CEP America Partnership began as a relatively small group of emergency physicians in 1975, but over the years, our democratic structure and our
steadfast focus on improving ED performance has allowed our Partnership to attract new hospital clients and the best emergency physicians as our
Partners. Our distinctive strengths include effective physician leadership, as well as achieving top rankings on national performance measures in
clinical, operational, and service excellence for a large emergency physician group practice. The CEP America administrative team and our dedicated
local medical directors provide creative, yet consistent performance in managing emergency physicians and the growing complexity of high-volume
emergency departments. The average patient volume of our hospital clients exceeds 40,000 per year and ranges as high as 110,000 per year. CEP America
is now the third largest provider of emergency department management and staffing solutions in the nation.
2008 marks our 33rd year of service. Our Partnership added four new hospital clients in 2006 and six more in 2007. CEP America and its affiliates
are now providing care to over 2.5 million patients, with 1,400 highly productive either board certified or residency trained emergency physicians,
nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
Why such extraordinary success? CEP America continues to chart a new course of providing exemplary emergency services as the preferred choice for
our premier hospital partners. The strong relationships our physician Partners have established with nurses and administrators at CEP America’s
client hospitals have resulted in numerous outstanding references from over 60 emergency departments in four states. Our exceptional patient care,
clinical performance, and physician management in partnership with our hospital administrators and nurse managers have contributed to the long term
stability of our current contracts. These testimonials have influenced other premier hospitals to award many new ED contracts to CEP America over
the years. In simple terms, CEP America offers the best places to practice emergency medicine for ED medical directors, emergency physicians,
physician assistants, and the nurses we work with everyday. For our physician and hospital partners, CEP America remains the gold standard of
